A new generation of 'mega-regional' trade deals have the potential to reshape the landscape of global agricultural trade, by establishing new commitments on market access as well as new regulatory norms that countries must respect. This study reviews how talks under the TPP, TTIP and RCEP in particular could affect trade in food and farm goods, both in countries party to the negotiations and others which are currently excluded from the emerging blocs.
